Desparate times call for desparate measures...
Here at The Wiggle Room, our top priority is providing a clean and safe facility for kids to play. Just like most of the world, we have been watching the novel coronavirus unfold and keeping a close eyes and ears on recommendations from the CDC and other local agencies. We understand the need to limit social contact, we also understand that kids need to get their wiggles out.
We have been weighing a variety of options in how we want to proceed. Due to our size, we are in a very unique position where we can continue to make the space available to families but in a more intimate capacity. We will be offering private play hours in an effort to allow families to continue to “Get Your Wiggles Out” on a more individual basis.
We’ve priced the private play option so that if it books out, we only cover our fixed costs. We want as many families to be able to participate as possible. Two or more families are welcome to unite and split the cost. For now, capacity will be capped at 8 children and is not meant to replace our birthday party side of the business. Outside food is still welcome, for those families on a budget. However, if you want to support us further, we’d be happy to provide you with a meal, snacks, coffee, beer, or wine.
If you or your family still isn’t comfortable visiting our space, but you’d like to support our efforts at providing a clean and inclusive play space for your kids in the years to come, please consider purchasing a gift certificate from us now, that you will be able to use later. Our gift certificates don’t expire.
Like many small businesses in the service industry, we have already seen significant drops in attendance in what would otherwise be our best month of the year. As our business is extremely seasonal, we’re not just concerned about surviving the next couple of months, but through the summer when we traditionally see a large drop in business..
We absolutely love our customers and appreciate each and every one of you. We hope to continue to serve you for years to come. Please stay well and check in on each other.
